A passenger disembarking from a Bangkok flight was taken into custody at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport following the discovery of a substantial quantity of marijuana in his possession, according to Customs officials.
The seizure came after a routine screening of incoming passengers, during which authorities identified and confiscated 12.85 kg of suspected ganja. The recovered narcotics have been valued at approximately Rs 4.5 crore in the illicit market.
The arrested individual is currently being processed by Customs authorities, who have initiated further investigation into the matter. Preliminary inquiries are underway to determine whether the contraband was intended for personal consumption or commercial distribution.
