Delhi authorities demolish unauthorised structures at Pakistan High Commission

Heavy machinery was deployed to dismantle the unauthorised constructions outside the diplomatic mission on Thursday, according to official sources. The demolition operation, carried out using mechanical excavators, left substantial debris at the site. Photographs from the location showed scattered rubble including twisted metal frames, corrugated roofing sheets, metal railings, gates, and broken masonry. Sections of the outer perimeter fencing and structural elements were completely removed during the clearance.
The visa section of the High Commission remained accessible following the demolition, though portions of the facade surrounding the service windows sustained damage. The action reflects ongoing coordination between Indian authorities and diplomatic missions regarding adherence to approved boundary demarcations and structural regulations governing diplomatic compounds in the national capital.
