Delhi college suspends classes after park gang-rape; students weigh relocation

Lady Shri Ram (LSR) College in New Delhi has suspended classes in the aftermath of a gang-rape case at Astha Kunj Park, located in close proximity to the institution's back entrance. According to the college's student union, approximately 2,000 to 3,000 women students reside in areas adjacent to the park, placing them in the vicinity of where the alleged crime occurred. Student representatives have indicated that a significant section of the female student population is considering relocating from Delhi owing to security apprehensions.
