Delhi identifies 22 diversion points for BRICS summit motorcade drill

Delhi traffic police have identified 22 diversion points across the city to facilitate a full-scale rehearsal of the BRICS summit motorcade movement. The practice drill is slated to take place on September 9 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., with Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan designated as the focal venue for the exercise.

The extensive planning reflects the scale of preparations underway for the high-profile international event, which will see participation from multiple heads of state and government delegations. The identification of multiple diversion routes aims to ensure smooth traffic flow while allowing security forces and protocol teams to execute their planned movements without disruption to the broader city traffic.
