Delhi man arrested in SSC exam cheating probe; eight held so far

Ankit Kumar, arrested from Delhi, is accused of facilitating cheating during Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruitment examinations, according to the Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF). The arrest follows an investigation into alleged irregularities during SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff) and Havildar online examinations.

The STF, which is investigating the case, has now apprehended eight suspects linked to the cheating network. Officials have not yet disclosed further details regarding Kumar's specific role in the alleged scam or the modus operandi employed by the group.

The SSC conducts nationwide recruitment examinations for various government positions. The latest arrests suggest an organized effort to compromise the integrity of the competitive selection process, raising concerns about the security protocols governing such high-stakes national examinations.

Investigations into the case are ongoing, with authorities working to establish the full extent of the alleged cheating network and identify any additional individuals involved in the scheme.
