Delhi Man's Killers Sent Fake 'I'm Fine' Text to Deceive Family

A tragic case of deception has emerged in the Delhi region, where a couple is accused of murdering a man and subsequently using his mobile phone to send misleading messages to his family. The victim, identified as Yuvraj, was a Delhi resident who had recently finalised wedding preparations and was scheduled to marry within a month of his death.

According to investigators, Yuvraj was lured to Gurugram on September 6 under false pretenses. He had arranged to meet with a woman named Anya, who presented the encounter as an urgent matter requiring his attention. The meeting occurred shortly after Yuvraj and his sisters had completed the selection and fitting of his wedding attire, a 'sherwani'.

Following his death, the accused couple allegedly gained access to Yuvraj's mobile phone and used it to send text messages to his family members, attempting to create the impression that he was alive and well. These fabricated messages stating that he was "fine" were designed to buy time and prevent the family from raising an alarm about his disappearance.

The case highlights the calculated nature of the crime, involving premeditation and deliberate steps to obstruct investigations. Law enforcement authorities have registered the couple in connection with the murder and are continuing their inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the victim's death and the period following it.
