The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation announced the restoration of normal operations across its network after gates at multiple stations were temporarily restricted due to an ongoing political protest. All entry and exit points have now been reopened, allowing commuters to resume their usual travel patterns without disruption.
Train services are operating according to their standard timetables following the resumption of normal station access. The DMRC stated that full capacity operations have been restored to serve the daily commuter base across the capital's metro network.
The disruptions stemmed from a demonstration organized by the Cockroach Janta Party, which has been demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The protest had prompted temporary restrictions on station access as a precautionary measure.
Commuters are advised that all metro lines are now functioning without modifications to their regular schedules. The DMRC has not announced any further operational changes at this time.
