The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will commence services at 6 am across all lines on Sunday to facilitate students appearing for national competitive examinations. The early start marks a departure from the regular 7 am Sunday schedule on certain corridors.

Delhi Metro services will begin operations an hour earlier than usual on Sunday to support candidates taking the NDA and CDS competitive examinations, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation announced Friday.
Regularly, services on the Pink, Magenta and Grey lines commence at 7 am on Sundays. However, all corridors will now start at 6 am to ensure smooth and timely movement of exam-goers to their respective centres, the DMRC said in a statement.
The decision came after Delhi Traffic Police received a request from a CDS aspirant regarding early morning Metro availability. Recognizing the need to help candidates reach examination centres before their reporting times, the traffic police coordinated with the DMRC to implement the measure.
The early service commencement will benefit not only those appearing for the NDA/CDS examinations but also the general public travelling during the morning hours, according to the DMRC.
