Delhi and surrounding areas in the National Capital Region will experience a gradual improvement in weather conditions, with partly cloudy skies dominating the forecast as rainfall subsides in the coming days. The India Meteorological Department has indicated that the intense precipitation that affected the region is expected to ease as weather patterns shift.

The northeast monsoon system, which has been active across the country, is now concentrating its impact over southern India. The meteorological services have predicted heavy rainfall across southern states as the moisture-laden system gains strength in that region, bringing significant precipitation to areas including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.

Residents of Delhi-NCR should prepare for variable weather conditions, with occasional cloud cover but significantly reduced rainfall compared to recent days. The shift in the monsoon system represents a typical pattern during this phase of the seasonal weather cycle, as the system's influence moves southward.

The meteorological department is continuing to monitor the monsoon's progression and has advised residents in southern India to remain alert for potential flooding and waterlogging in vulnerable areas. Weather updates will be issued regularly as the system evolves over the coming days.
