A tense encounter unfolded in Delhi's Usmanpur locality when armed gang suspects opened fire on police, triggering a full-scale shootout that left two officers injured. The suspects, allegedly associated with the organized crime network of Rashid Cablewala, engaged in an extended exchange of fire with law enforcement personnel attempting to apprehend them.

According to police accounts, approximately 28 rounds were fired during the confrontation. The two suspects discharged around 12 bullets in the direction of officers, with two rounds striking the bulletproof vests worn by members of the police contingent. Despite sustaining impacts to their protective gear, the officers continued their operation to neutralize the threat.

Both suspects were ultimately taken into custody following the exchange. Police secured weapons and other materials from the scene as part of their investigation into the incident.
