Delhi schools evacuated after receiving bomb threat emails

Three prominent schools in Delhi were evacuated Friday morning following receipt of bomb threat emails, prompting a coordinated response from security agencies across the capital. Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Lodi Estate, Venkateshwar Global School in Rohini, and Salwan Public School in Mayur Vihar were affected by the threats, officials confirmed.

Upon receiving information about the emails, the Delhi Fire Service dispatched teams to all three locations. As a precautionary measure, the school premises were evacuated while search operations commenced. Personnel from bomb disposal squads, canine units, the fire department and police forces are currently conducting thorough searches at each school.

Authorities said no suspicious objects or devices have been found during the operations so far. Investigators are working to trace the origin of the threat emails and identify those responsible for sending them. The ongoing probe will determine whether the threats are credible or part of a potential hoax.
