Delhi schools receive bomb threat emails, evacuated; alerts declared hoax

At least three schools across Delhi received bomb threat emails on Tuesday, prompting immediate security responses and the evacuation of students from the premises. The Delhi Fire Service received the first alert from Army Public School in the Dhaula Kuan area, after which police and other emergency response teams were mobilized to the location.

Upon receiving notification of the threats, school authorities initiated precautionary evacuation procedures to ensure student safety. Security personnel systematically searched school buildings and the surrounding areas for any explosive devices or suspicious materials. Among the affected institutions was Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, which issued a notice confirming that all students had been safely evacuated following the security alert.

After completing comprehensive inspections of the threatened schools, security agencies found no explosive or suspicious objects on any of the premises. Investigators examined the threatening emails and traced their origins as part of their inquiry into the incident. Following the clearance from security teams, the threats were officially declared to be a hoax. Police continued their investigation to identify the source of the emails and determine the circumstances surrounding the false alarms.
