Delhi Traffic Returns to Normal as Protest-Related Disruptions Ease

Traffic flow has resumed on multiple significant roads and intersections across Delhi following a spell of protest-related congestion, according to updates from the Delhi Traffic Police. The reopened corridors include stretches from AIIMS to Safdarjung Tomb, the Dhaulakuan intersection, and routes extending from ITO through to the Noida border—all key transit points for commuters moving between Delhi and adjoining areas.

The traffic police have confirmed that congestion has eased on these previously affected stretches, enabling smoother movement of vehicles. The clearance comes after demonstrations in the city had resulted in localised traffic slowdowns at major junctions and thoroughfares.

Commuters are advised to check real-time traffic updates before commencing their journeys, as conditions on secondary routes may still experience sporadic delays. The Delhi Traffic Police continue to monitor traffic flow across the city and have deployed personnel at key intersections to facilitate smooth vehicular movement and manage any emerging congestion.

Residents are urged to plan their routes accordingly and allow for additional travel time if using alternative roads, as the complete normalisation of traffic patterns across all city routes may take additional time.
