Dell recalibrates India strategy around AI-powered PCs and enterprise automation

Dell Technologies is repositioning its India strategy to address accelerating corporate adoption of AI-enabled computing and intelligent automation systems, according to the company's India managing director Manish Gupta. The recalibration reflects a broader market transition where enterprises are moving beyond traditional IT infrastructure toward integrated AI solutions embedded at the device level.

Gupta indicated that Indian businesses are increasingly deploying AI PCs—personal computers equipped with on-device artificial intelligence capabilities—alongside desk-side agentic systems that handle autonomous task execution.
