Deputy PM Zahid prioritises project completion as operation continues

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has committed to expediting the resolution of stalled projects and related administrative matters as the government continues its push to clear bureaucratic backlogs. Speaking on the initiative, Zahid outlined a comprehensive approach targeting multiple areas that have faced delays in implementation. The priority areas include accelerating project completion timelines, processing outstanding payments, resolving land-related issues, addressing utility provision matters, reviewing contract arrangements and managing asset-related decisions. Zahid emphasised that while some decisions remain pending, the government is working to systematically address each category to improve service delivery and administrative efficiency. The effort underscores the administration's commitment to reducing procedural delays that have affected various government operations and stakeholder interests across the country.
