Dharwad pilgrim missing after Nepal floods; Haveri group safe

A resident of Dharwad in Karnataka is feared missing after sudden flash floods struck Nepal, where he was undertaking a pilgrimage with members of the Isha Foundation. The group had traveled to the region as part of a spiritual journey to Manasarovar, a sacred pilgrimage destination.

While the status of the Dharwad pilgrim remains uncertain, other members of the Isha Foundation group from Haveri district in Karnataka have been accounted for and are sheltering safely in Pokhara, according to reports. Authorities and local officials have been coordinating relief efforts in the flood-affected areas of Nepal.

The flash floods, which struck without significant warning, have caused widespread disruption across Nepal's mountainous terrain. Search and rescue operations are underway in the affected regions as families of missing pilgrims await updates on their loved ones.

The Isha Foundation, a prominent spiritual organization with significant membership across India, has been in contact with authorities to locate the missing pilgrim and assist affected members of the group.
