Dhurandhar film soundtrack enters Grammy Awards race

The soundtrack to 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', which became a major commercial success following its theatrical release, has now achieved a significant milestone by securing a nomination entry for the prestigious Grammy Awards.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and featuring lead actor Ranveer Singh, the film established itself as a blockbuster at the Indian box office. Building on this success, the filmmakers have extended the project's reach internationally by submitting the album's music composition for Grammy consideration.

The move represents an increasingly common strategy among Indian film productions seeking global recognition for their musical work. The Grammy Awards, held annually by the Recording Academy, have in recent years expanded their categories to include international music submissions.

Details regarding specific tracks from the 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' album submitted for Grammy consideration have not yet been disclosed. The decision to pursue Grammy recognition underscores the growing ambition of Indian cinema to compete on international music platforms.

The Grammy Awards ceremony will determine the final recipients of awards across all submitted categories in the coming months.
