District official prioritises staff training, complaint resolution and organ donation

The district collector has instructed officials across administrative departments to strengthen implementation of the Karmayogi scheme, a centralized government initiative aimed at enhancing competency and professional development among civil servants. The directive comes as part of broader efforts to modernize administrative practices and improve service delivery standards across the region.

Alongside the training initiative, the collector has mandated expedited processing of public grievances through strengthened redressal mechanisms. Officials have been asked to ensure transparent complaint handling and timely resolution of citizen concerns, with particular emphasis on first-point-of-contact responsiveness and accountability throughout the grievance resolution chain.

The collector has also prioritized awareness campaigns focused on eye donation and organ transplantation programs. The initiative seeks to encourage voluntary participation in organ donation registries and address critical shortages of corneas and other tissues needed for sight restoration surgeries across medical institutions in the district.

These directives reflect the administration's commitment to capacity building, transparent governance, and public health awareness. Officials have been directed to coordinate with respective departments to implement the measures and report on progress, establishing accountability frameworks for each initiative.
