DivyaSree, HDFC Capital launch ₹1,500 crore residential platform

DivyaSree Realty and HDFC Capital have announced the formation of a new residential development platform backed by ₹1,500 crore in capital. The joint venture aims to capitalize on India's growing housing demand by acquiring land parcels and developing residential projects in key urban markets.

The platform will initially concentrate on three metropolitan areas: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. These cities have emerged as preferred destinations for residential growth, driven by strong migration patterns, job creation, and improving infrastructure connectivity.

With a potential gross development value of ₹6,750 crore, the partnership positions itself to tap into the expanding middle-class housing segment. The combined expertise of DivyaSree's development capabilities and HDFC Capital's financial acumen is expected to accelerate project execution and enhance market presence.

The initiative reflects broader investor confidence in India's residential real estate sector, particularly in secondary and tertiary metropolitan centers. Both entities aim to balance scale with quality in their development approach, targeting mixed-income residential communities across their target markets.
