Dixon Technologies set to expand into aerospace, defence and medical sectors

Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd is pursuing expansion into premium product segments as part of its next phase of growth, according to the company's annual report for FY26. The electronics manufacturer plans to target aerospace, defence, automotive, medical and industrial verticals, identifying high-growth opportunities across these sectors.

The company's Director and Chief Financial Officer Saurabh Gupta outlined a structured approach to support this expansion, with a focus on defining a capability roadmap and execution framework. Key elements of this strategy include capital allocation planning, talent development initiatives and forging strategic partnerships to enhance Dixon's manufacturing capabilities.

For the 2026-27 fiscal year, Dixon has prioritized three core objectives: scaling backward integration investments to reach full production capacity, deepening its joint venture pipeline in information technology hardware, telecom and mobile segments, and accelerating export growth. The company is also undertaking a phased ramp-up of its display and camera module manufacturing facilities as part of this broader expansion plan.

The move reflects Dixon's ambition to evolve into a globally competitive manufacturing platform, building on its existing presence in electronics manufacturing. The company's strategy emphasises both organic growth through capacity expansion and inorganic growth through joint ventures and strategic alliances in emerging high-value sectors.
