DMK MP Anbumani Ramadoss undergoes planned knee surgery

Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss, Member of Parliament and prominent figure in the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party, underwent an elective knee procedure at Apollo Hospitals on Greams Road in Chennai, according to a medical bulletin issued by the facility.

The orthopedic procedure was planned in advance and completed without complications. Hospital authorities confirmed that the surgery proceeded as scheduled, with the DMK leader receiving care at the multi-specialty facility.

Ramadoss, who represents the Dharmapuri constituency, is a qualified physician by training and has held several ministerial portfolios in Tamil Nadu governments. His medical background makes him one of few practicing doctors currently serving in Parliament.

The elective nature of the procedure indicates it was not an emergency intervention but rather a planned medical intervention. No further complications or concerns were reported by the hospital authorities following the surgery.
