MANILA — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has announced the resumption of Phase 2 rehabilitation works along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (Edsa) on Friday evening, with construction activities expected to commence around 10 p.m.
The project involves road reblocking and rehabilitation efforts as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements on one of Metro Manila's busiest thoroughfares. The DPWH has advised commuters and motorists to plan their routes accordingly to minimize traffic disruptions during the construction period.
Phase 2 of the Edsa rehabilitation initiative is part of a broader infrastructure program aimed at improving road conditions and reducing congestion on the major arterial road. The timing of the evening resumption is intended to reduce impact on daytime traffic flow.
Motorists are urged to check traffic updates and consider using alternative routes during the scheduled construction hours. The DPWH said it would provide regular advisories as the project progresses.
