MANILA — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is seeking P7.37 billion in lump sum appropriations for fiscal year 2027, Secretary Vince Dizon announced during the agency's Senate budget hearing on Friday.
The proposal comprises 13 separate lump sum allocations, which represent budget requests that are not broken down into specific line items. The submission comes as the infrastructure agency continues its annual budget cycle negotiations with lawmakers.
