DPWH to close Metro Manila lanes Friday for EDSA rehabilitation

MANILA — The Department of Public Works and Highways announced Friday evening lane closures in Metro Manila for rehabilitation work along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, one of the capital's major thoroughfares.

According to the agency's advisory, lanes 1 and 2 along the Monumento section will be affected by the closures beginning October 2. The DPWH did not specify an end date for the rehabilitation work in the notice.

Motorists traveling through the area during the scheduled construction period are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow additional travel time. The exact duration of daily closures was not immediately disclosed by the public works agency.
