Rahul Dravid has stressed the need to give young batsman Vaibhav Suryvanshi adequate time to develop before considering him for Test cricket, rejecting any rush to fast-track the teenage prospect into the national team.

The India head coach noted that Suryvanshi, at just 15 years old, requires significant preparation and exposure to longer formats of the game. Dravid emphasized that playing red-ball cricket for at least two full seasons would be essential for the youngster's development as a cricketer.
