Drone footage captures massive avalanche roaring down Mount Langtang

A drone conducting operations in the Mount Langtang region of Nepal has captured striking video evidence of a major avalanche, providing rare documentation of the destructive natural phenomenon in action. The footage, obtained unintentionally during routine drone surveillance, shows the massive snow and ice mass accelerating down the mountain's slopes with considerable force.

Mount Langtang, located in the Langtang National Park approximately 70 kilometers north of Kathmandu, is one of Nepal's most popular trekking destinations and a site of significant mountaineering activity.
