The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said it conducted the drug buy-bust operation in Sitio Dulong Bangiad, Barangay Taytay, with agents moving in during the early morning hours to apprehend the suspects.
The seized items included the large quantity of suspected shabu, locally known methamphetamine, and multiple firearms recovered from the arrested individuals. The PDEA has not yet released the identities of the three suspects or details on their background involvement in the illegal drug trade.
The operation underscores ongoing enforcement efforts by the PDEA to dismantle large-scale drug operations across Metro Manila and surrounding provinces. Authorities have intensified drug raids in the eastern portion of the National Capital Region following intelligence reports of significant narcotics trafficking networks operating in the area.
The arrested suspects are currently in PDEA custody pending filing of appropriate charges. The recovered drugs and weapons have been turned over to the agency's evidence management unit for documentation and further investigation.
