The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency's Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) conducted the operation at 1:45 p.m. Friday in Barangay Upper Labas, Midsayap. Three individuals identified as high-value drug targets were arrested during the coordinated enforcement action.
Agency personnel recovered two fragmentation grenades and approximately P47,000 worth of shabu—the local street name for methamphetamine—from the location. The confiscated grenades suggest the operation involved not only narcotics trafficking but also weapons possession.
The raid is part of ongoing efforts by PDEA-BARMM to dismantle drug operations across the autonomous region. The agency has intensified operations targeting high-value targets and major drug distribution networks in Mindanao.
The three arrested suspects are being held pending disposition of charges, while additional investigation into the drug den's operations and possible links to larger trafficking networks is underway.
