CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — A coordinated buy-bust operation conducted by anti-narcotics operatives resulted in the seizure of approximately P748,000 in suspected shabu and the arrest of a major drug distributor in this city, police said Wednesday.

The suspect, identified only by the alias "Levi," was apprehended during the joint operation near his residence. Police classified the 44-year-old as a high-value target in the city's drug trafficking network.

The seizure marks a significant blow to the local drug supply chain, authorities said. The operation was part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement to dismantle narcotics distribution networks operating across the region.

The suspect has been turned over to appropriate authorities for further investigation and prosecution. Police did not immediately release additional details regarding the operation or the suspect's background.
