Drug kingpin arrested in Greater Noida after months evading authorities

Uttar Pradesh law enforcement has arrested an alleged interstate drug kingpin who had been evading capture for several months. The suspect was located in a high-security residential complex in Greater Noida after an extensive investigation.

The arrest is linked to the seizure of approximately 500 grams of MDMA, a synthetic drug commonly known as ecstasy, from an ambulance at Vaniyambpara on May 26. The recovery marked a significant bust in a case that authorities had been actively investigating.

The accused individual is believed to have played a pivotal role in coordinating drug trafficking operations across multiple states. The arrest represents a major development in police efforts to dismantle the trafficking network responsible for distributing the synthetic drug across the region.

Authorities have launched further investigations to identify additional members of the smuggling operation and trace the supply chain. The case underscores ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to combat the distribution of synthetic narcotics in northern India.
