SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 1 (DSWD FO 1) has accelerated its relief operations across flood-affected areas in Ilocos Sur, reaching hundreds of displaced families with emergency assistance.
According to reports issued Friday, the agency distributed approximately 500 Family Food Packs (FFPs) across two municipalities in the province, providing immediate sustenance support to residents displaced by the flooding incident.
The DSWD FO 1 has prioritized rapid response and expanded coverage in the affected areas, ensuring that vulnerable households receive timely aid during the emergency period. The distribution efforts form part of the broader government response to address the immediate humanitarian needs of flood victims in the region.
