Dutch cities fly kites in solidarity with Gaza children
Eleven Dutch municipalities participated in a mass kite-flying event organised by the Plant an Olive Tree Foundation to draw attention to the Gaza conflict and oppose threats to Palestinian displacement.

The simultaneous kite-flying demonstrations across Dutch cities formed part of a coordinated advocacy campaign highlighting the humanitarian situation in Gaza and demonstrating international concern over Israeli policies affecting Palestinian civilians.
Organised by the Plant an Olive Tree Foundation, the events were designed to mobilise public awareness and generate pressure on international stakeholders regarding the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The foundation has previously focused on environmental and humanitarian initiatives supporting Palestinian communities.
The kite-flying actions, which took place across eleven municipalities, served as a symbolic gesture of solidarity with affected children in Gaza.
