Dutch midfielder Reijnders leaves Manchester City for Saudi Arabia

Dutch international Tijjani Reijnders has departed Manchester City to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadsiah on a permanent basis, the English club confirmed Wednesday.

Reijnders spent just over a year at the Manchester club before securing the move to the Saudi side. The midfielder departs Manchester City having found opportunities limited during his time at the Etihad Stadium.

The transfer represents a significant move for Reijnders, who will now ply his trade in the Saudi Pro League. Al-Qadsiah has been active in the transfer market as the kingdom's clubs continue to attract European talent with substantial financial backing.

Details regarding the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The move comes as Manchester City continues to manage its squad ahead of the new season.
