MANILA — Vice President Sara Duterte and Senator Robin Padilla have emerged as frontrunners in preliminary polling for the 2028 presidential election, according to data from OCTA Research's second-quarter 2026 Tugon ng Masa Survey.
The Duterte-Padilla tandem registered 48 percent support in the nationwide survey, positioning them 12 percentage points ahead of a potential ticket pairing Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo with Senator Paolo Benigno "Bam" Aquino IV.
