MANILA — Representatives from the prosecution team indicated Tuesday that Vice President Sara Duterte's statements of assets, liabilities, and net worth will be systematically compared against multiple financial documentation sources during the ongoing impeachment trial.
Prosecutor Rep. Terry Ridon disclosed the verification strategy following the day's court proceedings, stating that official records from tax authorities, banking institutions, corporate filings, and the Anti-Money Laundering Council would be used to cross-check the vice president's declared wealth.
