DYFI stages protests against police recruitment notification

The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) has launched a campaign against the recently issued police recruitment notification, organizing protests across multiple states to voice their opposition. The youth wing of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has alleged that the notification does not adequately address the interests of eligible candidates and contains procedural irregularities that merit immediate review.

DYFI leadership has called for a comprehensive reassessment of the recruitment framework, arguing that the current notification fails to meet established standards for transparency and fairness in the selection process. The organization plans to mobilize supporters at district and state levels to amplify their concerns before the concerned authorities.

The protests mark DYFI's latest intervention in labor and employment-related matters, areas where the organization has consistently advocated for policy changes benefiting youth and working populations. Officials have indicated that demonstrations will continue unless the notification is withdrawn or substantially revised to address identified shortcomings.

Authorities have yet to issue an official response to DYFI's allegations regarding the recruitment notification.
