DYFI to hold maiden State conference in Kerala's Thrissur

The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) is set to launch its inaugural State conference in Thrissur, marking a significant milestone for the youth-wing organisation in Kerala. The multi-day event, commencing August 19, will bring together party cadres, youth activists and supporters across the State for a show of organisational strength.

The conference programme encompasses a series of mass mobilisation activities designed to showcase DYFI's grassroots presence in Kerala. Large-scale rallies will be held alongside cultural performances, reflecting the organisation's emphasis on combining political messaging with community engagement. The centrepiece of the gathering will be a public meeting projected to attract approximately 50,000 attendees.

Thrissur, located in central Kerala, was selected as the venue for this inaugural State-level conference. The choice of location underscores the DYFI's strategic focus on consolidating its presence across different regions of the State. Such conferences typically serve as platforms for reviewing organisational progress, discussing policy positions and energising party workers ahead of electoral and political campaigns.
