MANILA — Easterly winds sweeping across the Philippines are expected to deliver scattered to isolated rains to most areas on Friday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its early morning forecast issued at 5 a.m., the state weather bureau said easterlies are influencing weather patterns throughout the archipelago, with the exception of three regions: Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley.
Residents and travelers in affected areas are advised to monitor weather updates as isolated rainfall could impact visibility and road conditions. The rain activity is expected to be intermittent rather than continuous throughout the day.
Pagesa continues to track atmospheric conditions and will issue updated forecasts as weather patterns develop. Residents are urged to stay informed through official weather bulletins for the latest advisories and forecasts.
