EBG Group to develop ₹45-crore integrated wellness hub in Ongole

EBG Group has announced a ₹45-crore investment in Ongole to develop an integrated wellness and education complex, marking a significant expansion of healthcare and wellness infrastructure in the region. The project, which includes the Carlton Wellness Retreat, Sri Sri Panchakarma and Tattva Centre, and Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, was formally inaugurated with the laying of its foundation stone by spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

The ambitious development seeks to merge three distinct sectors—hospitality, preventive wellness and education—into a cohesive facility designed to address contemporary health and learning needs. The Carlton Wellness Retreat will focus on providing luxury accommodation and wellness experiences, while the Panchakarma centre will offer traditional therapeutic treatments rooted in Ayurvedic principles. The educational institution will complement these offerings by promoting knowledge and awareness in wellness and holistic health practices.

The Ongole project reflects growing investor interest in wellness tourism and preventive healthcare across India's secondary cities. The integration of residential hospitality with medical and educational services positions the complex as a destination facility, potentially attracting visitors from across the country seeking comprehensive wellness solutions.

Official details regarding the project's timeline, capacity and operational structure have not been disclosed. The development is expected to generate employment opportunities and contribute to local economic activity in the Andhra Pradesh region.
