The Enforcement Directorate has intensified its investigation into the Vivekananda Reddy murder case by conducting searches at the residences of YSRCP Member of Parliament Avinash Reddy. During the operations at his houses in Kadapa and Hyderabad, the federal agency seized substantial quantities of unaccounted cash along with keys to multiple lockers, officials said.
Beyond the currency recovered, the ED's search teams also seized incriminating documents and various digital devices from the MP's properties. The recovery of locker keys suggests the investigation may extend to bank lockers and other secured storage facilities linked to Avinash Reddy.
The searches represent a significant development in the high-profile murder case, which had sparked considerable political controversy in Andhra Pradesh. The ED's focus on financial evidence and digital records indicates the probe is examining potential money trails and communications related to the case.
Avinash Reddy, a prominent YSRCP legislator, has been under scrutiny in connection with the investigation. The agency's recovery of unaccounted funds and related documentation signals that financial irregularities form a key component of the ongoing inquiry.
