Eight-foot snake found in Shah Rukh Khan's Mumbai residence

A sizeable serpent made an unwelcome appearance at the residence of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan in central Mumbai's Bandra locality. The snake, identified as an Indian rat snake measuring approximately eight feet in length, was discovered within the sprawling 'Mannat' bungalow. Authorities confirmed that the species, while large, is non-venomous and poses minimal threat to humans. A professional snake rescue team responded promptly to the incident, successfully capturing and securing the reptile without causing it harm. The operation was completed without further complication, and the snake was subsequently removed from the premises. Wildlife experts note that the presence of such snakes in urban residential areas is not uncommon, particularly in Mumbai's older, established neighbourhoods where green spaces and older structures may inadvertently attract reptiles seeking shelter and prey.
