Elderly man dies after fall on Romblon beach rocks
An 81-year-old resident of Alcantara town in Romblon province died Wednesday after slipping on rocks along the shoreline. The man was discovered early in the morning at a coastal area in Barangay Tugdan.

The victim was found lying face down along the shoreline in Sitio Nipa, Barangay Tugdan, at approximately 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the Philippine Information Agency in Romblon. Authorities said the man had reportedly slipped on rocks and sustained a head injury from the fall.
The Alcantara Municipal Police Station responded to the incident and documented the discovery. Initial reports indicate the fatal accident occurred in the early morning hours at the coastal area near the victim's residence.
