Eleven suspects including civil servants held over forged vehicle documents
Malaysian anti-corruption authorities arrested 11 people overnight at the Perak SPRM office on suspicion of involvement in a vehicle ownership document fraud scheme. The suspects comprise seven men and four women.

The arrests were made after the suspects attended the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) office in Perak to provide statements, sources said. Among those detained were civil servants whose involvement in the alleged document forgery operation is currently under investigation. The operation is believed to have centred on the creation and distribution of falsified documents used to illegally transfer vehicle ownership rights. Authorities have not yet disclosed details regarding the scope of the alleged scheme or the number of fraudulent transactions involved. The case is being treated as a serious criminal matter, with further investigations ongoing to establish the full extent of the suspects' involvement and any potential accomplices.
