ePlane and Noida International Airport partner on electric air taxi ecosystem
The collaboration will establish infrastructure and operational frameworks for ePlane's e200X electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft at India's newest major airport. The partnership aims to integrate sustainable aviation solutions into Noida International's operations.

ePlane and Noida International Airport have announced a strategic partnership to develop a comprehensive electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) ecosystem at the airport. The collaboration will focus on creating the necessary infrastructure and operational protocols to support ePlane's e200X electric air taxi operations.
Under the partnership, the two organizations will jointly plan and establish vertiports—dedicated landing and takeoff facilities for electric aircraft—as well as charging stations to support the aircraft's operations. The initiative will also encompass the development of standardized operating procedures tailored to eVTOL operations at the airport.
A key component of the agreement involves regulatory coordination between ePlane, Noida International Airport, and relevant aviation authorities. This coordination will ensure that operations comply with evolving regulations governing electric aircraft and will facilitate smoother integration of urban air mobility services into the airport's broader transportation ecosystem.
The partnership represents a significant step toward operationalizing electric air taxi services in the Delhi-National Capital Region. Noida International Airport, scheduled to begin operations in the coming years, positions itself as a modern aviation hub incorporating next-generation sustainable aviation technologies from inception.
The collaboration also aims to explore potential applications for emergency services using ePlane's aircraft, expanding the use cases beyond commercial air taxi operations. This partnership underscores India's growing focus on electric aviation as part of its broader sustainability and smart city objectives.
