Escaped remand prisoner recaptured near Viyyur jail in Kerala

The escape raised immediate concerns about security protocols at the facility, prompting an intensive search operation in the vicinity of the jail. The prisoner's ability to flee while in restraints highlighted vulnerabilities in the custodial arrangements during transport or routine movements.
