Eureka Forbes has reported a strong quarter with net profit rising 17.8% year-on-year to ₹74.09 crore in Q2, outpacing revenue growth as the company improved operational efficiency. The Bangalore-based appliances maker saw its top line expand 11.5% to ₹888 crore, reflecting sustained consumer demand across its product portfolio.
Water purification products remained a key growth driver for the company, capitalizing on persistent concerns about water quality across urban and semi-urban India. Beyond its core business, Eureka Forbes also benefited from emerging product categories, which are gradually diversifying its revenue streams beyond traditional water purifiers and air purification systems.
The results underscore the resilience of the home appliances sector amid a moderating economic environment. Eureka Forbes' margin expansion, evident from profit growth outpacing revenue growth, suggests improved product mix and cost management during the quarter.
The company continues to leverage its extensive distribution network and brand recognition in the water purification market, where it maintains a dominant position. Industry analysts attribute growth in this segment to rising disposable incomes and heightened health consciousness among Indian consumers.
