KUALA KRAI — A former Religious and Fardu Ain Class (Kafa) instructor was ordered to pay RM2,000 by the Magistrate's Court here after being found guilty of kicking a Year Five student in the face during class.
The incident, which occurred at a religious school in the district, resulted in charges being brought against the educator under relevant provisions relating to assault and abuse of authority. The court heard evidence regarding the circumstances of the physical contact between the teacher and the student during regular instruction.
