MANILA — Former Pampanga Representative Aurelio "Dong" Gonzales posted P90,000 bail on Saturday in relation to one of three graft cases pending before the Sandiganbayan Seventh Division, according to court records. The bail was accepted despite the court operating with a reduced workforce during the weekend. The Seventh Division clerk of court confirmed the posting to reporters, marking a procedural development in the cases against the former congressman. Gonzales faces multiple graft charges before the anti-graft court, with the cases currently under the jurisdiction of the Seventh Division. The posting of bail in one case does not resolve the other charges remaining against him. The Office of the Ombudsman had previously filed the cases against Gonzales, though specific details regarding the allegations were not immediately disclosed.
