Ex-Public Works Chief Bonoan Enters Not Guilty Plea in Graft Case

MANILA — Manuel Bonoan, the former Public Works Secretary, entered a not guilty plea to graft charges during his arraignment before the Sandiganbayan's Second Division on Friday. His counsel, Stephanie Ong, made the plea on his behalf as proceedings moved forward in the anti-graft court.

Bonoan's appearance came hours after his release following the dismissal of two separate plunder and graft cases related to the flood control scandal.
