KOTA KINABALU — A consultant forensic psychiatrist testified before the Coroner's Court on Monday that parental assessments were not required as part of a psychological autopsy investigation. Dr Chua Sze Hung's statement addressed methodological questions about how experts evaluate psychological factors in death investigations. The court heard that psychological autopsies follow established clinical and forensic protocols that do not necessitate input from family members during the expert assessment phase. Dr Chua's evidence came as part of ongoing proceedings examining circumstances surrounding a death case.
